Who we are
Prometheus was established in 2014 with a clear and enduring commitment: to ensure that every individual, regardless of the challenges they may face or the complexity of their needs, is treated with dignity, compassion and respect throughout their care journey.
From its beginnings as a specialist secure patient transport provider, the organisation has grown into a trusted group of integrated services, delivering high-quality transport and complex care solutions. In July 2026, this commitment will expand further with the introduction of healthcare services, strengthening our patient-centred approach to care.
Today we serve over 150 NHS Trusts and ICBs, employ specialist crews nationwide, and hold partnerships that have endured over time.
